In this article I am going to explain a few things. One being why Jesus is truly the only way to heaven and why other religions rely on self and the truth that self is not reliable.

While reading the Word of God many people give up because they cannot understand what it means. So surely as they started reading it they give up just as quick. The Word of God says that they cannot understand it because their minds have been darkened. Jesus Christ claimed that He was the way the truth and the life. There are testimonies of Jesus outside the Word of God about all the things that he has done adn did do.

But why must he be the only way? According to the Word of God there is no other way. Even Jesus claimed all who try to go in another way are robbers and thieves and will not enter in. Either His claims are false or He truly is the Son of God. Let us begin with other religions and why they rely on self. You see Jesus claimed that we must give up self and die to self in order to believe in Him and get to heaven. All other religions state that we either must be good or do good works in order to make it. Do you see the difference.

In the old testament or a long time ago the old priests used to sacrifice a lamb and as long as the lamb was pure because it was inspected by the priest the person who brought the lamb would be forgiven. You see we all have this sin problem and the Bible says that all who have sinned have fallen short of the glory of God and the wages of sin is death, but the free gift is eternal life through Jesus Christ and all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

You see without the shed blood of Christ a Holy God will see your sin and you must face judgment on judgment day. Please understand that Jesus is that pure lamb and as you trust in Him God will inspect the lamb or Jesus Christ and you will be forgiven. Repent today and trust in Him for he truly is the great sacrifice. May you be blessed today.
